Lavandels Vindur

Vindur came to us from Lavandels Kennels, located in michigan state. At Lavavendel Fleece they raise wonderful Icelandic sheep, sheepdogs, and even a few Icelandic chickens. They also grow lavender, of which most of it is harvest for producing lavender oil. Vindur came from the first litter between Reykjadals Stikla Run (aka Rosie) and Hofshesta Gloi and he carries wonderfull characteristics and genetics from both of his parents. Vindurs Grandparents are Reykjadals-Móri , Töfra-Hólmfríður Hrifla from Reykjadals Kennels in Iceland, and on his fathers side Kátur and Skotta (Shown at bottom) also from Iceland, and proud parents of a well known Kolur from iceland shown on this page. Vindur was the first and largest puppy born in his litter outweighing his next closest sibling by almost a full pound. At the age of seven months he weighed in at 32lbs and measured 17.5 inches. He has the best temperment I have seen in any icelandic, although I've only met a couple of others apart from mine so I don't have much for comparison.
